  • Conducting applied AI/ML research for DhatuVerse, a mining intelligence platform developed in collaboration with geologists, mining experts, and industry stakeholders.
  • Working with diverse exploration datasets including LiDAR, lithology, geochemistry, geophysics, seismic velocity/MOHO, magnetic, gravity, electromagnetic (EM), radiometric, fault-line, topographical, induced polarization (IP), self-potential (SP), and borehole logging data.
  • Processing and integrating geospatial data formats such as KML/KMZ, GDB, Shapefiles, GeoTIFFs, DEMs, point clouds, and drill-hole datasets to build unified exploration workflows.
  • Utilizing QGIS and geospatial analytics techniques for geological mapping, spatial analysis, terrain modeling, mineral prospectivity assessment, and subsurface visualization.
  • Developing data pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, validation, and analysis of large-scale geological and geophysical datasets.

AREX, POLARIS TITAN MISSION (COSTA RICA)

  • Led the development, implementation, and optimization of mission-critical systems for the Polaris Project, specifically the Titan mission, ensuring seamless integration in challenging space environments.
  • Wrote payload integration software connecting onboard subsystems to mission control interfaces, giving the team real-time telemetry visualization during operations.
  • Acted as systems integration lead across mission subsystems, translating GNC, payload, and comms requirements into testable interfaces and making sure isolated work mapped back to full-system performance.
  • Developed a dynamic model of the rover, designed a controller capable of performing the mission, and created an interface between the On-Board Computer (OBC) and the various elements of the mission.
  • Simulation and analysis tooling for navigation and control validation, used across subsystem integration and operational test readiness.
  • Kept the full-system view intact through all mission phases, catching misalignments between subsystem-level assumptions and mission-level outcomes.
  • Actively participated in the execution of the mission's action plan held in Costa Rica, helping conclude the Airborne Program of Project Polaris.
